Each cup burns steadily for approximately 30-35 minutes — long enough for a full aarti or meditation session. An ordinary charcoal dhoop cup typically burns out in 20–25 minutes.
We use carefully selected ingredients and raw materials to create our products. Specific ingredients vary by product, and the ingredients/details are mentioned on the respective product page or packaging.
दशामृतम् Dhoop Cups are made from ten sacred ingredients: Gau Gobar, Gau Mutra, Kapoor, Chandan, Kesar, Guggal, Loban, Ganga Jal, Gulab Jal and Mitti. Nothing synthetic is added.
The cow dung in our cups is collected naturally, without harm to the animal, from partner gaushalas. Buying them creates ongoing income for cow shelters and for the rural workers who process the material.
For daily aarti and meditation, our Kasturi Guggal and Kesar Guggal cups give a gentle, steady fragrance. For havan, Ganesh Puja and larger ceremonies, choose Premium Dashang or Oud Guggal — heavier resins that carry through a bigger space.
Because there is no harmful chemicals, our cups produce noticeably less smoke and no acrid residue. As with any dhoop, light it in a ventilated space and never leave it burning unattended.
